As part of our growth plans, Debt Recovery Plus are looking are looking to strengthen our Appeals Handling team based from offices in Manchester (Tameside). We are part of the Bristow & Sutor Group – employing over 490 people, in debt recovery, throughout the UK.

We are now looking for an Appeals Handler to join our busy team. This Role will be a hybrid position.

Position

Key elements of the role will include:

  • The role involves working within our Appeals Team responding to written appeals for private parking charge notices.
  • Analysing case by case data and collating the relevant written response.
  • You will also be required to operate a customer service phone line to provide advice on how to appeal..

Requirements

To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and manage your own workload.
  • Good problem solving, critical thinking, reasoning and decision-making skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Speed of thought and decision making.
  • Computer experience – a good understanding of outlook, excel and word is required.

The position offers a starting salary of £22,308 per annum.

Please note, this is a full-time role Monday – Friday (Shifts flexible between 8am – 5pm)

The successful applicant would be required to undertake a DBS and CCJ check before an offer of employment is made.
