We’re looking for the best enforcement agents, whether you are new to the business or already trained.

What you’ll do:

Once trained, you’ll be out in the field, making visits to the properties of customers in debt. Your goal is to help them reach the best solution to avoid further action taking place. To understand a typical day in the life of an enforcement agent, meet some of our team:

Dean, ex-soldier, 15 years with Bristow and Sutor

My average day involves visiting properties, speaking with customers or if they aren’t there, speaking with neighbours. Some visits are simple, we just take payments or make arrangements, help them complete a questionnaire and update the system…Job done. Others can be more challenging; we might need to take control of their goods and remove where necessary. I like that the job enables me to earn what I deserve”.

Claire, newly trained, one year with Bristow and Sutor

“I never imagined a career in enforcement but always wanted to work in public services. My typical day involves planning my work schedule, what properties I need to visit and by when. I like helping debtors find the best solution. Being an enforcement agent isn’t about scaring people or being a bully. It’s about encouraging people to understand how they can find the best solution. Sometimes that involves directing vulnerable customers to support services. That part of the job is really rewarding, knowing I can help prevent someone from having to go through further stresses”.

What you’ll need to succeed:

For this role, it is essential that you are a resilient problem solver who can think on their feet.

  • Strong interpersonal skills – the ability to stay calm and influence people to find the best solutions
  • Trustworthy and honest- we want to be able to trust you to do your job to the highest standard, treating people with respect and dignity
  • Balanced and fair- make decisions with integrity, using different tactics to handle challenging or vulnerable customers
  • Determined and Disciplined- you’ll go the extra mile to get the job done and be rewarded for your results

Benefits:

What’s in it for you?

  • Basic Salary of £23,800 to £26,000 + A commission and bonus structure that rewards your efforts, skills and success rates (£40,000-70,000 OTE)
  • Company Car
  • Fuel Card and Business Expenses
  • Flexible working hours
  • Smartphone
  • Company pension plan
  • Company Life Assurance Plan
  • 28 days paid annual leave
  • Full training and Certification to become a Certified Enforcement Agent
